BIM Modeler (MEP) - #1112870

Job Description:
The BIM Modeler is responsible for ensuring all structural drawings and specifications align with project requirements by creating and modifying engineering designs and models. This role involves working closely with the BIM Coordinator and other team members to develop accurate, high-quality models throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the BIM Coordinator in creating, updating, and revising BIM models during the project lifecycle.

• Prepare detailed drawings and design documents for preliminary, construction, and as-built phases using BIM software, AutoCAD, and Revit.

• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with various tasks at all project stages.

• Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies to maintain technical proficiency.

• Draft detailed plans and drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects from sketches or notes.

• Prepare and duplicate drawings and documentation packages for reproduction using blueprinting, photography, or other methods.

• Estimate the quality, cost, strength, and quantity of materials required, and maintain accurate materials lists.

• Explain drawings to production or construction teams and make adjustments as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).

• Knowledge of construction processes and project management.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

• Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve conflicts in BIM models.

• Familiarity with BIM standards and procedures.

• Proactive, deadline-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
