Job Description & Requirements

The Project Engineer to perform site supervision and coordination for the installation of equipment and systems, meeting the planned or targeted completion schedule, cost management and ensuring quality workmanship of the installation.

Permanent Position: Project Engineer
Working Schedules: Monday - Friday, Office Hours
Remuneration: Up to $3,500 + VB and Permanent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with design team on shop drawings and obtain client/consultant approvals.

• Manage design change requests, documentation, and meeting reports.

• Prepare purchase requisitions, engineering forms, and project reports.

• Inspect deliveries, issue delivery orders, and ensure proper material storage.

• Monitor material sufficiency and ensure project progress follows schedule.

• Verify subcontractors’ workmanship and materials against quality standards.

• Enforce safety compliance and proper use of tools/equipment on site.

• Support project execution to meet timelines and cost targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or higher qualification or equivalent in years of similar experience

• Technically qualified and preferably with experience in installation of equipment and systems

• Well-versed in construction working environment

• Equipped with necessary certification for construction environment (e.g. Work at height accessor, BCA Approved Certification, Safety Certification)
