Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) in accordance with PUB’s Code of Practice.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential non-compliance or environmental risks.
Submit monthly ECMO Inspection Reports with photographic evidence to the Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) and site team.
Advise on corrective and preventive measures related to earth control and water runoff.
Ensure the site complies with PUB, NEA, and BCA environmental control regulations.
Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper maintenance of silt fences, treatment systems, sedimentation basins, and other ECMS.
Attend site meetings, briefings, and audits when required by authorities.
Keep updated with regulatory changes and ensure site practices reflect current standards.
Requirements:
Certified Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) by IES or an approved training provider
Minimum 2 years of experience in erosion and sediment control at construction sites.
Familiarity with Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) and relevant documentation.
Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders (QECP, Safety Officer, Site Manager).
Strong documentation, observation, and reporting skills.
Must be able to travel to assigned site(s) regularly.
