Design Manager (Precast) - #1112700

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the design and drafting team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective precast and structural design solutions.

· Oversee and coordinate design processes from tender stage to construction, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.

· Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to resolve technical and design-related issues.

· Approve and review design drawings, BIM models, and engineering calculations.

· Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, industry standards, and project timelines.

· Promote the integration of value engineering and constructability reviews into the design process.

· Support R&D efforts to innovate and improve precast system efficiency and sustainability.

· Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering continuous improvement and upskilling.

Requirements:

· Education: Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.

· Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in precast or structural design and leadership roles.

· Software: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, and design tools like STAAD, ETABS, or similar.

· Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination. Familiarity with BCA and HDB regulations is essential.

· Certifications (preferred): PE (Professional Engineer) registration in Singapore.
