Senior/ Purchasing Executive (Contract Manufacturer, Semiconductor) - #1112649

Key Responsibilities

• Request and analyze supplier quotations.

• Negotiate pricing based on cost breakdowns, lead time, landed cost, and total cost of ownership.

• Order and manage materials for NPIs according to ERP (SAP) demand requirements.

• Collaborate closely with local planning teams.

• Issue purchase orders related to quotations and sourcing requirements.

• Work with suppliers to resolve escalated issues or identify alternative sources when required.

• Support NPIs and prototype builds.

• Coordinate with Strategic Supply Management and regional operational purchasing teams

• Manage engineering change requests with suppliers in alignment with Manufacturing Engineering.

• Prepare analyses and reports to support sourcing strategy and decision-making.

• Drive continuous improvement in supply chain quality in collaboration with Product Groups, R&D, Materials Management, and Finance.

• Review and validate invoices with price discrepancies against purchase orders.

• Negotiate and manage contracts with product- and non-product-related suppliers (final approvals by management).

• Ensure purchasing parameters (supplier data, contracts) are properly maintained and updated as required.

Candidate Preference

• Diploma or higher education.

• Background in contract manufacturing or related industries.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced with manual PO processes.

• ERP/SAP knowledge preferred.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Agile, data-driven mindset.
