Safety Coordinator (WSHC) - 1 Year Contract, Project Based - #1112648

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supervise fieldwork to ensure safety compliance for all staff and subcontractors.

• Liaise with site operations on safety and health issues.

• Maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.

• Assist in implementing the company's safety management system.

• Investigate complaints and recommend actions.

• Report safety violations to management.

• Conduct daily site inspections for safety compliance.

• Carry out regular site safety inspections and enforce compliance.

• Review and endorse Risk Assessments.

• Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.

• Investigate workplace accidents and injuries.

• Assist in preparing safety-related reports and documents.

• Support in-house safety training programs.

• Recommend and implement actions to improve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid WSHO/Level B Safety Coordinator certificate.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Engineering/ Construction Industry.

• In accordance with statutory project requirements, preference will be accorded to local candidates.

• Relevant supervisory course certifications (e.g., WAH, Confined Space) are a plus.

• Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

• Preparedness to respond to emergencies when necessary.

• A valid driving license is preferred; alternative transportation arrangements can be discussed.
