Laboratory Assistant (1 year contract) - #1112645

• Performs quality control tests on samples of raw materials, lube additives from plant and finished products. 

• Responsible to key in and update test data into Laboratory information management system and also to carry out other laboratory related task as directed by the Supervisor.

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates and finished products using state-of-the-art Lab instruments like XRF, GC-FID, ICP etc.

• Prepare and standardize all necessary reagents in accordance with specified method.

• Ensure product identification, results, status and traceability is maintained within the Lab Information Management System Database (LIMS).

• Maintain and upkeep Laboratory instruments and workstation.
   

Requirements:

• Nitec/Diploma in Chemical Process , Chemical Engineering or similar discipline

• Hands-on lab equipment experience in Petrochemical, Chemicals or Analytical Labs is advantageous.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

• Good in Documentation skills

• A team player with good communication skills.

• Good computer competency & literacy skills.
