Maintenance Officer/Supervisor - #1112634

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer/Supervisor to join our Maintenance team. As a Maintenance Officer/Supervisor, you will play a key part in maintaining and overseeing the upkeep of preventive and corrective maintenance of all assigned projects and provide supervision and direction to all employees regarding maintenance process functions.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Responsible in monitoring and maintaining all building / property facilities at optimum performance

2. Coordinating and overseeing the completion of maintenance and repair tasks in a timely manner

3. Schedule all maintenance inspections and ensure that defects are reported and resolved as required

4. Coordinate with tenants & contractors on all rectification works to ensure delivery of results

5. Providing support and guidance to the maintenance team to ensure high standards of work

6. Monitoring and documenting maintenance activities and costs

7. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to optimise maintenance strategies

8. Requisite tools, equipment and supplies required for operations

9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on construction sites

10. Attend to all complaints, feedbacks & service requests from stakeholders

11. Prepare and submit the monthly Building & Facilities Report

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role within the construction industry

2. Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Building Maintenance / Engineering or related fields.

3. Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment, tools and maintenance procedures

4. Strong organisational and time management skills to coordinate multiple maintenance tasks

5. Effective communication skills to liaise with the maintenance team and other stakeholders

6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address maintenance issues efficiently

7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
