Our client is seeking a Draftsperson to join their team!

Join a dynamic construction company in the West Region where your technical expertise will directly contribute to exciting construction projects. • Working Day: 5.5 days

• Working Timing: 9am-6pm; 9am-1pm

• Working Location: Tengah area

• Salary Range: $2,500-$3,700

What you'll be doing?

• Design Development - Create detailed 2D and 3D design drawings for civil and structural engineering projects, bringing concepts to life through accurate site plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings

• Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all drawings meet project specifications and regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest quality standards

• Process Enhancement - Contribute to developing and maintaining design standards, templates, and libraries that streamline workflows and improve team efficiency

• Quality Assurance - Participate in design reviews and provide valuable feedback to continuously improve design quality and process efficiency across all projects

• Stakeholder Coordination - Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to gather essential information and seamlessly incorporate it into design drawings

• Continuous Learning - Stay current with industry trends, tools, and software to enhance your technical skills and maximize productivity in this evolving field

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Foundation - Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, providing you with the technical knowledge needed for success in this role

• Professional Experience - Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in metal work and steel work construction.

• Technical Proficiency - Strong skills in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies as they emerge

• Attention to Detail - Excellent ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications with precision and accuracy

• Communication Skills - Strong interpersonal abilities that enable effective collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams

• Problem-solving Mindset - Independent thinking capabilities with the flexibility to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards

• Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards that ensure compliant and safe construction practices
