Role Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive lead generation, manage client enquiries, and support solution scoping. You will actively hunt for new business opportunities, follow up with leads, and work closely with our project team to ensure client requirements are accurately captured and translated into deliverable projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively source and hunt for new leads via calls, emails, networking, and online channels
Follow up with warm leads to qualify prospects and drive deal closure
Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions
Assist in gathering high-level requirements from clients for scoping purposes
Prepare and send proposals, quotations, and supporting documents
Keep CRM records updated to ensure pipeline visibility and task tracking
Coordinate with the project team to ensure smooth handover once deals are closed
Requirements:
At least 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in software, IT solutions, or digital services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients quickly
Working understanding of software and web development processes (SDLC) — what is feasible, limitations, and basic terminology
Organised, self-driven, and disciplined in follow-ups and pipeline management
Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous
Ability to work independently while aligning with team goals and processes
Nice to Have:
Experience in solution scoping or basic business analysis
Familiarity with grant discussions is a plus
