Job Scope / Responsibilities:

• Partner with toolmakers to achieve departmental targets and objectives.

• Provide technical support to Tooling & Development (T&D) and production teams to meet quality and performance standards.

• Assist in tool design and collaborate with sales to address customer requirements.

• Ensure tool readiness and availability to support production schedules.

• Coordinate with production and planning teams to set priorities based on tooling status.

• Work with the Design team on tool improvements to enhance efficiency and output.

• Lead problem-solving activities, including issue identification, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in tooling processes and workflows.

• Oversee machining needs for tooling modifications and enhancement programs.

• Manage resources within the tooling team to ensure effective operations.

• Mentor, guide, and train toolmakers to develop technical competencies.

• Act as deputy to the Principal Engineer when required.

• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by management.
