Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandising Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our merchandising and business team. The ideal candidate will analyse sales, inventory, and pricing data to optimize product performance, improve inventory efficiency, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse sales, inventory, and product performance across categories and channels
Build and maintain reports with high accuracy to track key merchandising KPIs
Translate data to effective visualization tools for presentation to stakeholders
Support regular e-commercial planning with data-driven insights
Evaluate the impact of pricing strategies and promotional campaigns
Partner with cross-functional teams (business, operations & marketing) to inform decisions
Identify trends, opportunities, and risks based on historical and real-time data
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, or Merchandising preferred.
2+ years in a Data Analysis or Merchandising Analytics role (retail/e-commerce preferred)
Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Retail merchandising or inventory planning knowledge is a plus
