The Opportunity

ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd, a leading provider of vehicle maintenance and repair services, is seeking an experienced and proactive Purchasing Supervisor to join their team in the North-East Region. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for a wide range of materials, equipment, and services required by the organisation

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, delivery, and quality terms

• Maintain and update the supplier database, evaluating the performance of existing vendors and identifying new sources of supply

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate procurement needs, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment

• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise waste

• Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making and improve procurement efficiency

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of purchasing policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of securing favourable terms and building long-term supplier relationships

• Proficient in inventory management and supply chain optimisation, with a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive informed decisions

• Familiarity with procurement-related software and technologies, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
