The accounts executive is primarily responsible for the day to day finance functions for a sub-group of companies. The general mission of the finance functions is to ensure accuracy of financial information, statutory compliances and to provide valuable advice to the management.
Additionally, to work with external parties including but not limited to auditor, tax authority, advisor to achieve finance and non-financial targets.
Job Description:
Handles full duties of accounts.
Prepare quarterly GST submissions.
Prepare and ensure all month-end closing reports are submitted on a timely manner and ensure all intercompany balances are properly reconciled.
Management of cash flow and assist in the preparation of cash flow projection.
Prepare and ensure monthly management report are in accordance to FRS and accounting policies.
Prepare and implement financial and accounting policies and procedures for the company and make recommendations for improvements.
Liaise with internal/external auditors, tax agents and other professional advisors for statutory compliances.
Assist in the management and maintenance of robust internal control processes;
Preparation of financial reports.
Support any other ad-hoc assignment as required.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Working experience in construction industry with at least 3 years in handling full duties of accounts.
Meticulous, detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
Able to work independently and a team player.
ACCPAC accounting software experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Five-and-half-day work week.
