Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital is Singapore's leading independent referral veterinary hospital, located near Labrador Park MRT.

Our Internal Medicine department manages a wide range of complex medical cases in small animals using advanced diagnostics and individualized treatment plans. This is a great opportunity for a junior nurse to work alongside specialists and experienced nurses in a supportive, high-standard clinical environment.

The expert team includes specialists in small animal surgery, internal medicine, neurology, exotic companion mammals, and cardiology, using state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology to provide personalized care.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist internal medicine veterinarians with patient handling and procedures

• Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostics such as ultrasounds, blood tests, and endoscopies

• Monitor inpatients and report any changes in condition to the senior nurse or veterinarian

• Perform basic nursing tasks including feeding, cleaning, administering medications, and patient monitoring

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in updating treatment charts

• Ensure all treatment and ward areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked

• Work closely with the nursing and veterinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort

• Participate in daily inpatient rounds and departmental meetings

• Learn and apply internal medicine protocols under supervision of senior nurses

Requirements:

• Diploma in veterinary technology or relevant qualification

• Entry-level candidates welcome; some experience in a veterinary setting is an advantage

• Enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication skills and a strong team player

• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required

• Passion for patient care and interest in internal medicine
