Job Summary / Introduction :-
Responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments, maintaining good relationships with clients, and handling all AR-related tasks. Proficiency in both business and financial systems is required.
Key Responsibilities :-
Tracking & Management: Monitor daily AR collections, update ledgers, analyze aging, and support credit/collection strategies with Sales.
Reconciliation & Write-Off: Conduct regular reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, prepare reports, and assist with bad debt provisioning and write-offs.
Invoices & Customer Service: Review, issue, and track invoices; handle customer inquiries and resolve invoice issues.
Data & Analysis: Collect and analyze AR data, prepare reports on balances and overdue rates, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Risk Management: Implement AR risk alerts, assess customer credit, recommend limits, and manage credit risk controls.
Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements :-
Minimum Qualification: At least a Diploma in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance / ACCA qualification, or related fields
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounts receivable or related fields.
Experience in the logistics or related industry is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF functions)
Hands-on experience with the NCC accounting system
Well versed in English and comfortable with speaking to Chinese clients in China.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, responsible, capable of working independently, and able to keep supervisors well-informed and responsive to tasks assigned
