Perform waste recycling, chemical blending, filling of chemicals, loading/unloading of ISO-tankers, chemical sampling at various locations and packing of finish products. Computer entry and various production/warehousing activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor and control batch manufacturing from DCS 

• Perform waste recycling, chemical blending, filling of chemicals, loading/unloading of Isotankers, sampling and packing of finish products

• Follow truck driver to perform collection of waste and recyclable items from designated areas. Transfer of waste into storage tanks.

• Perform data entry of process parameters 

• Operate forklift for material handling of production materials

• Perform periodic process equipment maintenance & inspection. Safety equipment inspection. Housekeeping activities for the work area.

• Participate in ESH programs and activities

• In addition to the above, you may be required to support other business operations as needed, by the Company

Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /or similar discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related environment is preferred.

• Ability to read, write and speak English to interpret technical documents, such as equipment manuals and P&ID.

• Knowledge of safety protocols in chemical handling and processing.

• Experience in control systems (DCS/SCADA).

• Familiarity with Microsoft software and SAP system 

• Familirize in PLC operations

Additional Information:

• Comfortable performing 12-hour rotating shifts.

• Be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Responding to Emergencies in the Workplace.

• Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and compounds including fumes and smells [Hazardous chemicals].

• Require entering confined spaces and performing work in an elevated environment. 

• Valid Forklift license
