We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Analytics (Global Maintenance & Repair) to join our clients Analytics team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing analytics solutions that drive business insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. As part of the Analytics team, you will oversee the design, enhancement, and deployment of solutions using tools such as Google Sheets and Excel. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of experience in digital operations, business analysis, or data analytics, with a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that enhance operational performance and strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Optimise performance of the global MNR KPIs via comprehensive cost investigation, validation of report accuracy and identifying anomalies through data driven analysis.
Enhance and maintain existing cost KPI dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights and improve overall cost and operational visibility for stakeholders.
Drive the strategic development and management of key digital projects for the team.
Serve as point of contact to queries, fostering strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery.
Ensure high level of data integrity and standardization across all MNR platforms and associated business processes, implementing robust data governance practices.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and provide comprehensive functional support.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks and special assignments as directed by management, contributing to broader team and departmental objectives.
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related business field.
Experience of 3 to 5 years in digital operations, business analysis or data analytics. Experience in equipment maintenance/repair or similar roles within the shipping/maritime industry will be advantageous.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, detect anomalies, and propose effective solutions.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines and drive initiatives from conception to completion.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Interpersonal & Collaboration: Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Proactive & Detail-Oriented: A self-starter with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and process adherence.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the organisation
