What you’ll do :

• Lead projects as the Product Owner, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of competitive products.

• Develop content with the author to ensure optimal quality and accuracy of publications.

• Content edit manuscripts and ensure syllabus points are covered.

• Copy edit manuscripts and proofs to ensure that content is suitable for end-users and that content flow is presented in the correct sequence.

• Coordinate all aspects of book production, from manuscripts to printed and digital books, including liaising with authors, designers, illustrators, the digital team, and/or freelancers.

• Ensure timely delivery of content by monitoring schedules and ensuring that timelines are met.

• Prepare artwork briefs, photo-sourcing and obtain permission for use of copyrighted

  materials.

• Proofread and check content at all stages.

• Plan and update production schedules based on given/estimated milestones.

• Ensure planned expenses (photographs & artworks) fall within set budget.

• Support the Sales team in pitching the product by providing subject matter expertise as needed.

• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What you need to succeed:

• Excellent command of the English language.

• Studied Science up to GCE A Levels or University.

• A resourceful, independent and communicative team player.

• Excellent people skills and with an ability to manage strong personalities.

• Good understanding of market needs and trends in education, including educational technologies.

• Candidates with knowledge of the Singapore education system will have an advantage.

• Candidates with editorial experience will also have an added advantage.

• Fresh graduates with a degree in Science (Biology or Physics) are welcome to apply!
