About the role

S P ALUM ENGINEERING PTE LTD' is seeking an experienced Aluminium Designer Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and drafting aluminium structures and components to support our ongoing construction projects in the West Region of Singapore.

What you'll be doing

• Producing detailed design drawings and specifications for aluminum structures and components

• Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into workable design solutions

• Ensuring designs comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and client specifications

• Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and optimise designs

• Preparing material takeoffs and cost estimates to support project planning and budgeting

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date design documentation and project records

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Aluminium Designer Drafter or similar role in the construction industry

• Strong proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to produce detailed design drawings

• Solid understanding of aluminium construction techniques, materials, and industry standards

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve design challenges

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is an advantage
