About the role

This is a full-time Associate QM Engineer role within the prestigious manufacturing company, Santoku BASF Pte. Ltd., located in the Tuas West Region. As an Associate QM Engineer, you will play a crucial part in upholding the company's commitment to quality and continuous improvement across its operations.

What you'll be doing

• To support Dept Head in effective implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) functions and projects;

• To maintain and update QMS documents and records to ensure compliance to relevant standards;

• To co-ordinate actions deliberated in quality-related meetings;

• To support on necessary corrective and preventive actions within organization;

• To support on customer and supplier management activities;

• To support on continual improvement activities;

• To support in co-ordination of internal and external audits;

• To support on Management Review;

• To ensure timely update of licenses and certificates to relevant parties;

• To support on both internal communication within organization and external communication with agent/customers.

What we're looking for

• A Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

• 1 – 2 years of experience in QM/QA/QC preferably in chemical manufacturing industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams

• Competent in MS Office. Knowledge on ISO9001 will be added advantage.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement. Positive working attitude and strong work ethics.
