• Position : Accountant - Up to $6,000 - Pioneer

• Location : Pioneer

• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 7.15AM to 4.00PM

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Transport Allowance

• Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with all aspects of the finance function, encompassing accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and project management.

• Implement effective cost control measures and manage cash flow efficiently.

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records, including performing.

        - Bank reconciliations and cashbook posting.

        - Processing & payment of supplier invoices.

        - Processing sales invoices and overseeing credit control.

• Maintain an accurate and complete balances sheet, including.

        - Trade Receivable reports

        - Trade Payable reports

        - Fixed Assets

        - Accruals/prepayments

        - Sale and purchase provisions

        - Inventory reconciliations.

• Generate insightful management reports utilising Sage, Tagetik, and other relevant systems.

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, bankers, and business partners.

• Oversee all aspects of corporate and GST tax filing, including preparation of schedules and reports.

• Assist in the A/P and A/R functions.

• Manage payroll processing and CPF submissions.

• Consolidate monthly financial information for group reporting by the first week of each month.

• Support year-end financial reporting and audits.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Maintain customer trackers to ensure accurate monthly billing.

• Any other ad-hoc duties required

Requirements:

• Possess a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA preferred)

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel functionalities

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
