Data Centre Protocol Engineer / Architect (Multiple Levels)

West (8 – 10 Mins Walk from Circle Line MRT)

5 days, 9:00 am – 6:00pm

Basic Salary up to $6500 (Commensurate with experience) + High Bonuses + Good Benefits!!

Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and optimize network protocols such as Ethernet, UEC, and UAlink for next-generation data centre networking.

• Perform protocol simulation, verification, and performance analysis using tools such as MATLAB, OPNET, SystemVerilog, and Python.

• Collaborate with R&D teams to develop test cases, technical documentation, and ensure smooth implementation across departments.

• Drive innovation in optical interconnection and AI-driven networking architectures, solving bottlenecks in large-scale interconnection.

• Participate in or lead contributions to international protocol standardization forums, representing the company in shaping future standards.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to strengthen the company’s protocol engineering capability and ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Communications, or Computer Science (Ph.D./Master’s with strong experience preferred for senior roles).

• Hands-on experience in protocol design, analysis, or verification.

• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Python, and EDA tools; experience with MATLAB/OPNET is a plus.

• Strong English communication and technical writing skills; negotiation and leadership abilities required for senior roles.

• Team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across functions.
