This is a full-time, on-site role for an Employee Relations Specialist based in Singapore. The Employee Relations Specialist will manage employee relations and engagement, develop and implement HR policies, and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee lifecycle management: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and related processes, including assisting with labor contract signing/renewals, ensuring timely completion of insurance contributions, payroll processing, and handling Work Pass applications and maintenance.

  2. Labor relations coordination: Collect, organize, and analyze employee concerns, providing timely feedback and resolutions.

  3. Proactive case identification: Identify potential employment relations cases that may involve regulatory breaches, and escalate these matters to relevant departments to coordinate resolution strategies.

  4. HR compliance and guidance: Stay current on HR and employment law, provide advice in line with legal requirements and best practices, and offer guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures.

  5. Team and project support: Provide additional support to the Employee Relations team during projects, peak periods, and broader HR team priorities.

What You Need to Succeed:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role, or equivalent experience.

  2. Strong critical thinking skills, efficiency, and the ability to work independently, exercising judgment and making decisions on cases and escalations.

  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and thorough knowledge of labor and employment laws.

  4. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information, investigations, and HR matters.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  6. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  7. Experience in administration or HR operations is a plus.
