We are seeking a Finance Manager/ Senior Finance Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the entities, responsible for budget planning as well as supporting executive management team in a variety of operational decisions. He/She will facilitate good corporate governance practices established by BOD in addition to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee, manage and provide guidance to finance team in operational financial matters, to ensure timely and accurate month and year end closing reporting, compliance to internal control, accounting standards, legal and statutory requirements, including GST reporting.
Review month end and annual closing activities and reporting, including tracking and reporting of variances, analysis of fluctuation in significant items.
Consolidation of monthly group accounts, including preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules for the group.
Provide analysis to management and business units to make informed decisions aimed.
Establish key financial strategies to enhance business profitability.
Handle corporate tax and GST compliance, statistics surveys and statutory matters.
Develop standard accounting procedures to improve financial operations efficiency.
Strengthen current internal control and process improvement to ensure that policies and procedures and limits of authority are adhered to and financial controls are in place.
Manage annual internal audit process and follow up with HODs on the findings and outstanding audit issues.
Maintenance and review of ERP System
Manage internal and external stakeholders
Any other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
A recognized degree / ACCA in Accountancy Studies with minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experiences.
Experience in overseeing the financial management and reporting activities of the company, including leading a finance team.
In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and proficient in ERP System (preferably Oracle Fusion).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
