3. What are the working hours and number of work days per week?

We operate on a 6-day work week. A shift typically starts between 2AM to 3AM and ends around 2PM. This is adjusted according to the daily operational needs of the business.

5. What is the salary structure like? Are there allowances or performance incentives?

Our salary structure is based on your role, experience, and skill level. A specific offer will be shared after the interview and assessment stage.

Compensation at Grain is closely tied to individual contributions and performance, with annual reviews to assess progress and growth. While we do not explicitly state performance bonuses, we are committed to recognising and rewarding strong performance, consistent attendance, and meaningful contributions to team goals.

Team members are also eligible for monthly incentives:

  • Team KPIs incentive - up to $400/month, based on food quality and defect rates

  • Bonus (sales commission) - no cap; based on how much company sales exceed monthly targets

These incentives are designed to reward team performance and drive overall business results.

We do not provide fixed monthly allowances such as transport or meals, as these are factored into the overall pay. However, we do provide:

  • Company-paid transport when public transport is unavailable

  • Daily duty meals (lunch) for team members

In addition, Grain usually pauses operations at year-end, from the last day of the year through the first week of January. This period is paid time off and offered on top of the regular leave entitlements.

The standard probation period is 3 months. It may be extended depending on individual performance and contribution. We provide regular feedback during this period to support your development.
