About the role

Cash Converters Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in our office located in the Tai Seng North-East Region. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's financial reporting and compliance requirements. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for full set accounts closing including AR, AP, GL, Taxation and GST reporting

• Prepare month-end financial and management reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

• Ensure all accounting records are properly prepared and documented for audit purpose

• Liaise with auditor on annual audit and financial schedules

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, processes and procedures

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the financial accounting team and provide guidance

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or a related field

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CA)

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in retail industry

• Candidate with hands-on experience in MS Navision system an added advantage

• Well-versed in accounting standards and statutory requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
