MANUFACTURING (either Assembly, Test or QC) TECHNICIAN (2-way transport) - #1108921

(The salary figure above refers to basic monthly salary only.

Our client, a US listed multinational corporation located in the Eastern part of Singapore, is seeking suitable individuals to join as Manufacturing Technicians. Working either the morning shift or afternoon shift, Manufacturing Technicians will carry out assembly work, testing work or QC work in a cleanroom environment.

To do the work of a Manufacturing Technician, you need to possess:

• NITEC or Higher NITEC or diploma in Engineering or related discipline

• Good work attitude

• Eagerness to learn

Job scope:

• Utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations.  This includes identifying and correcting errors, thus troubleshooting and repairing as necessary.

• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components and thereafter, enter on computer terminals data such as progress, work expense and labor details.

• Receive parts and perform audits (inspecting parts for defects) to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair.

• Troubleshoot and improve processes.
