We are looking for a Centre Manager in non-profit organization set up; someone who seeks meaningful career and create social impact
The Centre Manager will serve as the operational and strategic lead for the Active Centre (seniors) This role requires a dynamic, compassionate, and person-centred leader to lead active ageing centres’ operations.
The role oversees day-to-day active ageing centre’s operations, programme planning and execution, collaboration with team members, partners and stakeholder engagement, and adhering to KPIs The successful candidate will inspire staff, volunteers, and partners to deliver innovative and person-centered programmes. This position shall report directly to the Executive Level
Roles
Operational Leadership
• Provide operational leadership to the AAC team, translating the organization’s mission into impactful daily operations.
• Develop and execute annual work plans aligned with government funding requirements, KPIs, and organizational goals.
• Lead and develop the AAC team with empathy, clear communication and teamwork.
Programme Development & Impact
• Curate and implement evidence-informed and person-centered programmes that promote seniors’ physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Oversee outreach strategies to engage vulnerable seniors, including home visits and community networking.
• Lead the AAC team to plan, execute and refine active ageing programmes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
• Build strong relationships with government agencies, community partners, donors, and grassroots organisations.
• Represent person at networking events, dialogues, and collaborative initiatives.
• Develop partnerships that expand programme reach and funding Sustainability
Administrative Oversight
• Oversee the efforts to achieve, and compliance to AIC’s KPIs for the active ageing centres.
• Prepare the necessary reports for submission to AIC and relevant funds.
• Lead the management of volunteers, work with the AAC team to onboard volunteers, and collaborate with volunteers for the benefit of our
beneficiaries.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum a diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, Community Development, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant leadership experience in the social service, healthcare, or community sector, preferably in senior services or active ageing sector.
• Proven track record in programme management, team management and building, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
• High adaptability and resilience in a dynamic community environment, and comfortable working in a ‘start-up’ culture
