Positions Overview(Junior & Senior)
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Sales Engineer . This role requires a strong blend of marketing skills and sales acumen. The ideal candidate will be fearless in pitching our products, possess exceptional follow-up abilities, and demonstrate resourcefulness in identifying and converting cold leads into successful sales. As the primary point of contact for clients, this individual will play a critical role in driving the adoption of our EV charging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales:
Identify and pursue sales opportunities for electric vehicle charging solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, including EV fleet operators, property managers, and municipalities.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our EV chargers.
Utilize a proactive approach to generate and follow up on leads, both warm and cold, to achieve sales targets.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
2. Project Coordination & support.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inquiry to post-installation support.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
Address any project-related issues or concerns promptly, striving to exceed client expectations at every stage.
3. Technical Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of electric vehicle charging technology, including different charging standards, power levels, and infrastructure requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients, addressing inquiries related to product specifications, installation procedures, and compatibility issues.
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for product improvements or customization based on client feedback and market demands.
Qualifications
Junior position: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical engineering preferred). Some working experience. Internship also welcome
Senior position : Bachelor's degree in Engineering , Business Administration, or related field but with strong electrical knowledge. At least 3 years proven track record in sales, with a focus on technical products or solutions.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive and confident demeanour.
High level of initiative and resourcefulness, with a demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Passion for sustainability and clean transportation solutions.
Knowledge of electric vehicle industry trends, regulations, and incentives is advantageous.
