Our Client, in the Manufacturing Industry well known MNC located in the West has openings for Operations Service Manager #Production.
5 Days Work Week

To assist General Manager to lead, support and conduct improvement analysis for the existing operational system, process and policies in sales, purchasing, planning and warehouse/store department.
Planning
To oversee the planning and organization of a production process and ensure availability of necessary material and equipment resources required
To design and implement plans for the effective use of material resources to achieve manufacturing target
To plan and prepare cost estimates and budget required for a manufacturing proposal
Compliance
To establish close rapport with Singapore Customs to ensure smooth and continuation of operations
Compliance to the Customs Act and Sales Tax Act is the guiding principles of bonded goods activities
To submit reports required by authorities in a timely manner and in the right perspective • To ensure full compliance to both internal/HQ Code of Conduct and Purchasing policies
To ensure all regulatory requirements pertaining to Free Trade Agreements, tax incentives and approve permits are being met.
To ensure all operations and processes responsible under Operations Services are compliance with ERM, New Toyo’s policy & procedures
Management
To build good teamwork amongst inter-department staff to achieve synergies amongst the departments
To assist and work with top management on operations service issues
To ensure all service requirements are fulfilled through close collaboration with other departments.
Supply Chain / Customer Service
To maintain close contact with key customers to understand their needs, obtain and attend to their feedback and complaints on the product and services
To build and maintain good relationship with customers
To collaborate with marketing department to implement strategies that will improve the marketability of manufactured products
To ensure all orders are fulfilled for customer at right qualities, quantities and right time
To ensure smooth delivery of goods to customers at all times
To attend to customers’ enquiries and handle customers’ complaint as well as analyst the complaint root cause
Constant analysis on customers’ trends and development, collaborate and communicate with team to assists in eliminating write offs (aged and obsolete products), and enhancing speed to customers’ expectations
To review of volatile supply and demand from customer, close monitoring and coordination with them to ensure their demands are met.
To review forecasts from customers and further discuss to the relevant team members through weekly SNOP meeting to ensure all teams are aware of the customers’ current situation in order to meet customers’ requirement
Production
To analyze and provide solutions to production challenges or problems
To ensure production process complies with established quality control specifications and standards
To monitor and liaise with quality control department and packing supervisor to ensure finished products are of the best quality
Purchasing
To provide superior service levels to purchasing team through efficient and effective execution of purchase orders processing
To formula and implement strategies to consolidate purchases to achieve savings through leveraging on economies of scale
To drive cost saving opportunities through lot size optimization, local sourcing of raw materials and also participate actively in price negotiations with vendors to achieve the most competitive purchase price
To manage procurement forecast
To oversee the selection and procurement of raw materials and equipment requirement for production process
To conduct negotiations with suppliers and vendors to ensure best product quality, excellent service level and lower cost possible
To oversee and maintain purchase order requisitions and stock balances
To oversee and manage logistic matter to ensure the incoming raw materials are delivered accurately and timely.
To resolves requisition problems such as late delivery and/or discrepancies in billings
Store/Warehouse
To review monthly aging report for management decision making to eliminate write offs due to aged inventories.
To review inventory records and reports for accuracy and completeness
To optimum utilization of storage locations efficiently
Others
To ensure the maintenance & renewal of ISO 9001
To undertake such other duties and responsibilities in relation to the operations service
To observe and comply with all directions from time to time given by the General Manager.
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Operation/Business Management or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Project management, technical and organizational skills in Manufacturing industry
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skill
Leadership quality
Able to work independently with initiative
