Quantity Surveyor - #1107601

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Responsible for quantity take-offs and measurements, including cost exercises for pre-tender estimates.

·         Obtain quotations and liaise with, negotiate, and source new subcontractors and suppliers.

·         Prepare and analyse costings for tenders, including value engineering (VE) proposals and tender clarification replies.

·         Review and vet main contracts and related contractual documents.

·         Prepare and liaise with Clients/Consultant/Main Contractor and internal project teams on monthly progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

·         Evaluate and certify subcontractors’ progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

·         Conduct subcontract tender evaluations, cost comparisons, recommendations for award, and preparation of subcontract documents.

·         Liaise with Clients, Main Contractor and Consultants on all contractual and commercial matters.

·         Advise project teams on commercial and contractual issues, including reviewing and drafting correspondence.

·         Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with contractual and company requirements.

·         Any other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·        Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveyor / Architectural, Building Construction Management or equivalent

·         Possesses at least 1 year of relevant experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)

·         Independent, resourceful, and well-organized, with a positive work attitude

·         Strong time management, analytical, and communication skills
