Job Scope:

• Operate and monitor CNC lathe or milling machines to carry out precision machining operations.

• Set up machines, cutting tools, and fixtures according to specified job requirements.

• Load raw materials and securely position workpieces for machining.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CNC programs.

• Select, install, and align tools, fixtures, and materials.

• Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments (callipers, micrometres, gauges).

• Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements

Job Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in CNC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant hands-on experience in CNC lathe (turning) or milling machine setup and operation.

• Ability to run CNC programs in Mazatrol and G-code languages.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical blueprint.

• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and machining processes.
