About the Role:

• Perform daily WSH inspections to ensure full compliance with safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and recommend preventive actions to maintain a safe working environment.

• Assist the WSH Officer in investigating incidents or accidents, gathering relevant information, and suggesting corrective measures to prevent similar occurrences.

• Contribute to the review and updating of risk assessments, safe work procedures, and the risk register to reflect current site conditions and activities.

• Ensure all Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation is valid, complete, and properly in place to support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Support the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures across the site, working closely with both internal teams and subcontractors.

• Conduct joint site inspections with subcontractor supervisors to monitor compliance, ensure proper housekeeping, and verify that all personnel are wearing the required PPE.

• Check that all machinery and equipment are functioning properly and in safe working condition, reporting and following up on any defects or issues.

• Lead daily toolbox meetings with subcontractors to reinforce safety awareness, communicate worksite risks, and ensure alignment on daily safety expectations.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding safety issues until they are resolved, while also supporting general operational duties as assigned beyond core safety responsibilities.

Requirement:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction industry
