Job Responsibilities:
Execute purchasing operations to ensure adequacy to meet turnaround time of operations by:
Analysis, plan, coordinate, determine and arrange materials requirements to support operations.
Oversee Inventory Control and Materials Management.
Monitor delivery and quality of materials while maintaining transparency to operations.
Coordinate and monitor all forms of logistics activities. Ensuring delivery of both inbound and outbound shipments.
Manage supplier relationships.
Handling quotations, price evaluation and comparison.
Involve in sourcing suppliers, price negotiation, cost reduction, and shortening of lead time activities.
Manage and handle turn backs of materials including invoice discrepancies.
Repair activity analysis.
Support lean initiatives.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Purchasing, Planning and Inventory Control.
Microsoft Office: Excel (Pivot table, VLOOKUP),Outlook.
Good in mathematics and analysis numbers.
Independent with initiative.
Able to work with a diverse team including cross-functional departments such as Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Engineering and Finance.
Experience with chemical suppliers is a plus.
