New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer - #1106879

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in managing new product introduction (NPI) projects.

• Collaborate with R&D and Design Engineers to review product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).

• Define and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools.

• Ensure product BOMs, routings, and process documentation are accurate and complete.

• Work with suppliers on tooling, part availability, and cost optimization during NPI.

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support On-site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at customer location.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customer engineers, serving as the technical interface to resolve engineering and process issues

• Track project milestones, report progress, and escalate issues to stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3+ years of experience in new product introduction NPI, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering.

• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and product lifecycle management (PLM) principles.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

• Proficient in CAD tools and ERP/PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Agile, Arena).

• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
