BIM Manager (M&E) - #1106672

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage BIM modelling works in coordination with civil and structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical and building services works.

• Support modelling works into 3D BIM system, including conversion from 2D AutoCAD drawings to 3D BIM model.

• Manage M&E engineering submission on BIM services and secure submission approval from consultant.

• Maintain BIM implementation plan, process and workflow to ensure BIM data meets project deliverables.

• Perform quality control on all models submited by BIM coordinators / modellers.

• Assist BIM Manager and M&E Manager in project meetings and in generating routine submissions and interface reports.

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans

• Ensure BIM processes support the project's lifecycle from design to operation.

• Ensure compliance with industry and client-specific BIM requirements.

• Conduct regular audits to maintain quality and consistency.

• Support project teams in setting up models and workflows.

• Oversee model coordination between disciplines (e.g., architectural, structural, MEP).

• Manage clash detection processes and resolution workflows.

• Train and mentor M&E BIM Coordinators, modeller, and project team members.

• Promote BIM awareness across departments and stakeholders.

• Foster a collaborative environment for BIM adoption.

• Ensure accuracy, structure, and security of BIM data.

• Manage data handovers at key project stages (e.g., design, construction, FM).

• Act as the point of contact for M&E BIM-related discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Translate M&E BIM aspects for non-technical stakeholders.

• Leading the M&E BIM coordination meetings and progress reporting.

• Evaluate and refine BIM workflows and practices

Job Requirement:

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.

2. BIM Management certification (e.g., BCA-Certified BIM Manager or equivalent) preferred.

3. Minimum 6–8 years of BIM experience.

4. Strong knowledge of BIM Execution Plan (BEP), LOD specifications, and project collaboration platforms.

5. Proactive in problem-solving and improving BIM workflows.

6. Proven track record in handling large-scale M&E BIM coordination projects in Singapore.
