Job Overview:
Our company is looking for an experienced mechanic in the maintenance of vehicles and machinery.
Job Description:
Report to the Maintenance Team Lead for all duties related to the repair and maintenance of vehicles, excavators, equipment, and machinery.
Perform routine preventive maintenance of vehicles, excavators and machinery like:
10 &14ft Lorries, Lorry Cranes, Low-Bedded Trailers, Tipper Lorries
Mini and Medium Excavators
Diesel Generators
Tower Light
Air Compressors
Water Pumps
Winches
Attend to any ad hoc repair work involving vehicles, excavators, and site equipment issues.
Update service and repair reports using Power Apps.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and store area; adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Support loading/unloading operations and minor logistics using forklifts and lorry cranes when required.
Carry out other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Team Lead/Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
Possess a Professional Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in maintaining or servicing heavy machinery.
Familiarity with common vehicle and excavator makes such as Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Toyota, Hino, Kubota, and Kobelco is advantageous.
Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical components.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving lifting and carrying heavy items.
Holds a valid Class 3 driving license (Optional).
Possession of a Forklift and/or Lifting Supervisor License is advantageous.
