About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Care Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Care Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the infants in our nurturing environment. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a supportive and experienced team, while also contributing to the growth and development of the next generation.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants in your care

  • Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development

  • Observing and documenting the progress and developmental needs of each child

  • Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative partnership in supporting the children's growth

  • Maintaining a clean and organised classroom environment that meets all safety and hygiene standards

  • Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • A recognised early childhood education qualification, such as a Advanced Cert in Early Years (ACEY) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or equivalent

  • Experience working with infants in a childcare or preschool setting, preferably for a minimum of 2 years

  • Strong knowledge of child development and the ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • A passion for nurturing and supporting the growth and development of young children
