About the Role
We are seeking a mature, stable, and highly skilled Corporate Procurement Manager to lead and optimise procurement operations across our subsidiaries. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving cost efficiency, ensuring compliance, strengthening supplier relationships, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet project and operational requirements in both mechanical and electrical engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the procurement function at the corporate level for our subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with each company's policies and business objectives.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to procurement teams to ensure compliance with procurement policies, ISO standards, and best practices.
Evaluate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) from project and site teams, ensuring technical specifications, cost-effectiveness, and delivery requirements are met.
Source, compare, and negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing, lead time, quality, and commercial terms.
Build, expand, and maintain a robust supplier network for mechanical and electrical engineering products, equipment, and services.
Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluations, and identify alternative vendors to ensure supply chain resilience.
Oversee the preparation, issuance, and accuracy of Purchase Orders (POs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and related procurement documentation.
Monitor and control purchasing budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve cash flow through effective procurement planning.
Manage all shipping and logistics arrangements — including import/export documentation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling — to ensure on-time and cost-efficient project execution.
Consolidate group purchasing requirements to leverage economies of scale and improve efficiency.
Ensure accurate matching of PO, Delivery Order, and Invoice, and timely submission to Finance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior management on procurement strategies, project forecasts, and operational needs.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and strengthen supplier partnerships.
Prepare and submit regular procurement and inventory reports to management and finance teams.
Manage shipment and logistics documentation for timely delivery of goods.
Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
Proven experience (min. 8–10 years) in procurement management, preferably in mechanical and/or electrical engineering industries.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
Mature, stable, and decisive leader with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
Strong understanding of procurement policies, ISO documentation standards, and budget management.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and deliver results within deadlines.
