The Ranch Steak House & Bar, blending traditional continental recipes with premium cuts of meat, dry-aged steaks and a refined yet relaxed dining atmosphere. Our guests are drawn to our premium steaks but it's the rich sauces, seasonal sides and refined starters that complete the experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen operations and staff (hiring, scheduling, mentoring)
Design, refine and execute menus combining European classics and high-end steaks
Source top-quality ingredients and manage supplier relationships
Design and implement monthly food promotions aligned with seasonal trends, guest preferences and business goals.
Maintain food cost targets, inventory and waste control
Ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and kitchen organization
Collaborate with FOH team to deliver a seamless guest experience
Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Preferred:
Minimum 5 years of kitchen leadership (Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef level)
Strong background in European cuisine and steakhouse-style cooking (grilling, dry aging, sauces, butchery)
A hands-on, team-oriented management style
Culinary degree or equivalent experience
A passionate, professional kitchen and front-of-house team
Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 & 3 certification
Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and early/late hours as needed
