Supplier Quality Engineer

We are on the lookout for a brand-new Supplier Quality Engineer headcount who will be responsible for working closely with suppliers to ensure that production line maintains zero defective quality.

Job Scope

• Develop and implement quality plans and standards as well as establishing quality procedures for suppliers to comply with.

• Provide feedback to suppliers and provide guidance on how to improve their quality processes and performance as per required.

• Collaborate with internal team (such as manufacturing and engineering team) & suppliers to ensure proper alignment on quality requirements and address any potential issues.

• Understand the customer’s manufacturing quality requirements & ensure that they align with the business agreement.

• Liaise closely with suppliers to expedite on-the-line defective returns.

• Maintain proper documentations to monitor supplier performance and identify trends when required.

Job Requirements

·         Minimum Diploma in Engineering discipline

·         At least 3-years relevant experience, preferably in Electronics Manufacturing environment.

·         Experience using SAP & Linux will be advantageous
