Specific Job Role/ Scope:

• Air Export shipment specialist - Aviation / Time Critical accounts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely across internal/ external departments to ensure smooth handling all aviation & time critical shipments.

• Liaise with Shippers/ OA/ Consignee/ Purchaser.

• Follow up with shipper/ customer on cargo readiness and required documentation.

• Ensure all external customers' queries are acknowledged, while all internal emails are responded within stipulated timeframes.

• Liaise with airlines on cargo space arrangements and ensure lead times are met.

• Request assistance from pricing team for adhoc rates when requires.

• Execute shipping documents (AWB).

• Send pre-advice to OA and customer after finalizing the shipping documents.

• Liaise with warehouse personnel with regards of cargo handling and discrepancies (if any).

• Ensure all shipment lodged and pre alert sent via various portal correctly.

• Update uplift information for certain projects.

• Ensure a proper shift handover.

• Other general administrative/ adhoc duties assigned by the management/ HOD

Qualification:

• Diploma/NITEC in Aviation/Airport Operations or equivalent 

• Possess good communication skills 

• Good team player
