Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

• Prepare financial reports and statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and relevant government bodies

• Lead the annual budgeting process and support departmental budget planning

• Conduct monthly forecasts and perform variance analysis versus budget and actual results

• Support financial planning and deliver management reports for business reviews

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved financial efficiency

• Enhance accounting procedures and strengthen internal controls

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns and corporate tax submissions

• Monitor and analyse financial data to produce accurate financial reports

• Maintain organized documentation in accordance with internal policies and local regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)

• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charting, and basic financial modeling

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines

• Experience with multi-currency accounting, and knowledge of FRS and US GAAP

• Familiar with GST reporting, IRAS correspondence, and ACRA submissions

• Good understanding of Singapore tax regulations (e.g., GST, Corporate Income Tax)

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
