Business Analyst (CFD) - #1105326

You are responsible to gather, analyze and formalize user’s business requirements and processes, evaluate the feasibility of implementation, and manage the scope of projects. You will also help to manage and implement quality IT projects that are within the scope and ensure timely deliverables that conform to processes and standards. Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Gather and analyze business requirements, develop an understanding of relevant systems and applications to provide preliminary advice and recommendations in the early stages of projects.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure solutions are comprehensive and aligned with business needs.

• Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, translated into technical terms, and properly documented. Conduct workshops or discussions as needed to align project deliverables with business expectations.

• Design and define test cases; actively participate in test execution to validate requirements.

• Coordinate and assist with various testing activities, including but not limited to unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation verification.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements where applicable.

• Recommend suitable change requests that address business requirements while considering associated risks and costs.

• Provide first-level technical support to clients or internal stakeholders, including handling time-sensitive inquiries and conducting training or system demonstrations for new features.

• Facilitate and manage project priorities based on business needs. Provide timely progress updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

• Take ownership of project delivery, help remove impediments, proactively contributing to smooth execution and ensuring high-quality, timely outcomes.

 Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

• A recognized professional qualification in Project Management, Business Analysis or Information Systems will be advantageous

• Possess working knowledge of SDLC project methodology (Agile & Waterfall) with at least one full cycle implementation preferred

• Able to work independently and multi-task effectively, managing several projects concurrently

• Knowledge of Equity Trading will be advantageous

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for a contract position with potential for conversion
