Production Assistant Engineer (Woodlands/12 Hours Shifts/MNC) - #1104832

Our esteemed client, a globally recognized MNC, is searching for an Production Assistant Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate manpower by assigning trained and certified operators to meet production demands.

• Monitor and ensure production activities are carried out under standardized and controlled conditions.

• Set up machines and equipment based on operational specifications and procedural requirements.

• Supervise operators’ adherence to work instructions, safety protocols, and process guidelines.

• Provide hands-on support to resolve technical or operational issues during daily operations.

• Review and validate production records for accuracy and compliance before submission.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and material receipts in the ERP system.

• Issue delivery orders for components sent to subcontractors.

• Enforce quality control by inspecting outputs, making go/no-go decisions, and halting production when necessary.

• Report all quality or operational concerns to the Section Manager/Head in a timely manner.

• Investigate product defects and production issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with quality systems and resolving non-conformities.

• Promote a clean, safe, and organized workplace aligned with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies.

• Identify work-related hazards, implement risk control measures, and foster safe work practices.

• Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements.

• Drive EHS awareness through regular safety training, communications, and proactive initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Experience in safety audits and incident investigations.

• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with electrical systems, instrumentation, and ERP systems preferred.

• Salary: Salary up to S$3,500 + Variable Bonus
