You will be responsible for the teaching, learning and mentoring of our student-athletes. You will also be involved in curriculum design, development of pedagogical strategies and assessment plans. This includes:
Delivering effective, engaging and well-paced lessons by adopting a wide range of teaching techniques that are student-centric and value-driven;
Contributing to establishing a conducive learning environment that motivates and empowers student-athletes;
Contributing to the design of appropriate and varied assessment modes that enhances teaching and learning;
Monitoring student-athletes' performance, provides accurate feedback and takes follow-up actions in a timely manner;
Contributing to provision of pastoral care and guidance programmes to inculcate values and socio- emotional competencies in student-athletes; and
Contributing to creating a supportive culture built on strong rapport and mutual trust with student-athletes
Requirements
Professional teaching qualification, such as the Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, or other similar qualifications
At least 3 years of teaching experience in pre-university institution or secondary school, with at least some exposure to teaching Literature.
Experience in preparing students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma, GCE A-level or O-level
An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
Interest in sports is preferred
