Senior Account Manager - #1104663

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

• Make sure that accounts are closed on schedule and accurately at the end of each month, quarter, and year.

• Create and evaluate the cash flow, balance sheet, and P&L statements.

• Oversee financial audits and communicate with tax authorities and outside auditors.

• Manage daily funding needs and cash flow, including expertise in trade finance (e.g., bank guarantees, etc.).

• To support business operations, coordinate with financial institutions to set up and withdraw bank facilities or borrow money as needed.

• To guarantee efficiency and stability in finances, manage treasury operations, and maximize working capital.

• Verify adherence to all legislative requirements and local tax laws.

• Compile and send in quarterly GST returns in compliance with IRAS regulations.

• Keep an eye on company tax returns and respond to regulatory bodies' inquiries.

• Keep an eye on the cycles of billing, collections, and payments. Make ensuring that accounts are properly recorded and reconciled.

• Continue to use sound credit management procedures and internal controls.

• Manage the processing of the monthly payroll, including SDL, CPF, and other associated statutory payments.

• Create accurate paystubs and use the system to make sure they are distributed to employees on time.

• Use AIS to manage yearly IR8A submissions.

• Oversee and guide a small accounting and finance team of one to two people.

• Perform performance evaluations and assist junior employees with their training.

• Collaborate with Sales, HR, and Operations to expedite financial procedures and assist company expansion.

• Provide financial analysis for business ventures and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• 3 years or more in a managing capacity, out of a minimum of six years of relevant experience

• Having prior building experience will be beneficial.

• A thorough understanding of Singapore's tax and regulatory obligations

• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities

• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience

• A degree in finance or accounting, or a comparable professional credential (such as an ACCA or CPA).

• Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 6.00pm & Saturday 9.00am – 12.00pm (alternate Saturdays only, with flexibility and option to work from home)
