Primary Objectives of Position
To partner with business for
- Chartered Engineers, Technologists and Technician schemes
- Technical programmes through IHL
- Staff education sponsorships scheme
- Work-Study Diploma and Degree programmes
To manage all administrative tasks, claims and payment associated with the above items
To orchestrate annual emplacement process for the assigned business unit
To coordinate and collate Individual Learning Plan exercise for the assigned business unit
To assist technical training teams with Learning Needs Analysis and Total Learning Plan
Major Responsibilities
Learning Needs Analysis: Conduct annual assessments to identify organizational and individual competency gaps in collaboration with business units.
Individual Development Plans (IDPs): Oversee the creation, implementation, and tracking of IDPs; support managers and staff in setting meaningful development goals.
Training Program Management:
- Design, coordinate, and deliver management, and functional training programs.
- Organize external courses listed in the Bus Learning Plan / Total Learning Plan, including sourcing, nominations, and logistics.
- Evaluate and process ad hoc training requisitions for external courses.
- Support Overseas Learning Programs to support global exposure and development.
- Assess and process Work-Study Diploma applications for Bus Business staff.
- Support LNA and IDP process for the entire Bus Business.
LMS Administration: Manage the Learning Management System, including user support, and reporting on participation and completion.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Measure training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics; recommend improvements to enhance learning impact.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) on scholarships, study awards, and educational partnerships.
Engage internal stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives align with business priorities.
Administrative Support: Manage overseas training-related travel claims, IES Memberships claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
Job Specifications
Diploma and above (ACLP/ACTA Preferred)
At least 3 years relevant experiences
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
Proficiency in LMS administration and data reporting
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset for evaluating learning effectiveness and ROI
Experience managing external training vendors and academic partnerships
