Assistant Manager (Technical / Design) - #1104346

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Design/Coordination Engineers in ensuring design drawings comply with project specs and authority regulations.

• Serve as the main liaison between consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities on all design and technical coordination matters.

• Oversee preparation and submission of shop drawings, materials approvals, and method statements.

• Manage and track technical submissions to authorities, ensuring timely approvals and regulatory compliance.

• Resolve design issues by coordinating with Architectural, M&E teams, and consultants; respond to RFIs and RFAs for clarification.

• Propose and assess value engineering options to improve cost, constructability, safety, and quality outcomes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with minimum 6 years’ of construction working experience or an engineering consultancy environment.

• Strong knowledge of local building codes, authority regulations, and construction methodologies

• Independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills

• Candidates with 'Design for Safety for Professionals' certification have an added advantage
